With the passing of Mabon (Autumn Equinox) and the September Harvest Full Moon, I’m following nature’s lead of letting go, withdrawing, and gathering my resources ready to regenerate in the new year.
I always look forward to this time of year, the smell of autumn, the crisp clear mornings and evenings and the beautiful colours as the trees let go of their leaves.
I have an annual ritual which I start about this time. I reflect on the year that’s ending: celebrating the things I’ve achieved, letting go of the things that are no longer relevant, starting to make plans for new beginnings.
So as the days get shorter and the nights get colder, you’ll find me curled up in the warm making lists, and drawing up plans for the year to come.
What do you do at this time of the year?
